Cut Shadow Box Layers with Cricut
Upload the Halloween shadow box SVG to Cricut Design Space. If you need help with uploading SVG files, then check out my tutorial here. Make sure to check the size of your project and adjust if needed. If you are using a 10″x10″ frame, the project size should be 9.55″x9.55″. If using a different size, adjust accordingly. Cut everything out using your Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine.
Note: Make sure to measure the inside of the shadow box because this size is typically smaller than the shadow box size.

Layer Designs on Top of Each Other
To assemble the design, you can either use foam tape, glue or a combination of both. I like mine to be more 3 dimensional so I use foam tape to separate most of the layers. The only layers that I am not using foam tape for is the green behind the cauldron and the black frame on the top layer.
Lay your foam tape around each edge and place some on the inside as well to keep the inside from sinking in. Then layer the design on top of the next. Here is the order that you will layer the designs from bottom to top: black, yellow, orange, green, black, black, purple, black.

Place Layered Halloween Design in Shadow Box
When all your layers are attached, place the layered design inside of the shadow box and decorate your house with it. This Halloween craft is so easy to make, it’s perfect for beginners but still looks like you spent a lot of time on it.
