Cut North Pole Layers with Cricut
Upload the Christmas shadow box SVG to Cricut Design Space. If you need help with uploading SVG files, then check out my tutorial here. Make sure to check the size of your project and adjust if needed. If you are using a 10″x10″ frame, the project size should be 9.55″x9.55″. If using a different size, adjust accordingly.
Note: Make sure to measure the inside of the shadow box because this size is typically smaller than the shadow box size.
Before cutting the file, make sure to change “North Pole” to “Pen”. To do this, first select all the layers grouped together and select “Ungroup” to group them. Then click on the layer that says “North Pole” and change the operation to “Pen”.

Then select both the North Pole layer and layer below it together and click “Attach” to attach the layers together. And then cut everything out using your Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine.

Layer Shadow Box Layer on Top of Each Other
If you want the layers to stick out for a 3 dimensional effect, then you’ll layer each layer using foam tape. This is how I’ll be putting this shadow box together in the tutorial. You can also use glue, but this will result in a flat image.
When applying the foam, layer the foam tape pieces around each edge and place some on the inside as well to keep the inside from sinking in.

To layer the designs, start by layering the blue layer on top of the white square. Next, add the white glitter layer with the trees, but glue the green trees to the layer first.

Then, glue the red stripes to the north pole sign and layer this layer on top using the foam strips.

Before adding the final layer, glue the penguin and elf pieces in place.

Place North Pole Design in a Shadow Box
When all your layers are attached, place the layered design inside of the shadow box and decorate your house with it. This is such an easy and quick Christmas decoration, but looks amazing so no one will know how easy it was.
