Learn how to make Scrunchie Ballerina Valentines with Cricut!

If you’re looking for non-candy Valentine ideas, these Scrunchie Ballerina Valentines are perfect! If you’re using your Cricut to cut these, you can easily change the colors of the designs before cutting them in Cricut Design Space. So if you want to use a different color scrunchie, just change the leotard to match. If you don’t have a Cricut, grab the PDF file and cut these out yourself.

Ballerina Free Valentine Printables

Step 1: Customize the Ballerinas

If you would like to customize the ballerinas (colors for the skin, hair, clothes, etc), you can do this with the layered SVG file in Cricut Design Space. Before you can edit the file, you will need to ungroup the layers. Click on your image and select “ungroup”. Continue to ungroup until your layers are all separate.

To change colors, click on the layer (in your layers panel) that you want to change, then click on the color icon and choose your color. You can click on “Advanced” for more color options.

Once the ballerinas are ready, you’ll need to prepare them for print then cut. Keeping them in the same spacing as they were when uploaded, select the 2 left ballerinas together and select “flatten”. Then select the other 2 ballerinas together and select “flatten”.

Step 2: Print then Cut the Ballerina Valentines Out

Click on “Make It”. You should see both of your ballerinas within a square black box. Click “Continue” and follow the prompts to print your image.

Step 3: Add the Scrunchie

Once your image has been printed, place on your cutting mat and follow the prompts for your cricut to cut your design out. Remove your ballerinas from your cutting mat and they are ready to go!
