These floating candles are really easy to make and only take a couple minutes to put together. The candles separate so you can turn the tea lights on and off as needed.
This candle SVG design will also stand up. So, you can use these to add additional Halloween decor throughout the house. This is a safer alternative to candles, but still gives the same feel throughout the house.

Step-by-Step Tutorial
Watch the full step-by-step video tutorial on how to make these Harry Potter floating candles:
Upload the floating candle SVG file to Cricut Design Space. The files are already sized correctly, so no need to resize. Select all layers and ungroup them.
Turn all the cut lines into score lines and attach them to the candle base. You will do this for all 3 candles. To do this, select the layers with the cut lines and in your operations menu, change them from cut to score.

Select your score lines and your candle layer together by holding down shift and select attach to attach the score lines to your candle layer.

Note: If you are making multiple candy holders, cut them all together so that you can use the least amount of paper. Several candy holders can be cut on the same piece of paper.
How to Assemble the Floating Candles
Start by gluing the candle wax piece to your tea light. Line it up so that the top is flush with it. Wrap the wax around and glue it closed.
To assemble the candle, roll it and glue it together. When you glue it, line the end up with the score line that runs down the candle. This will make sure your candle is sized for a perfect fit.

Then fold the tab pieces inward and glue the bottom circle to them. Add the candle inside the candle wax and your candle is complete!
To hang these, attach a clear string to each side and hang them from your ceiling.
