How to Make a Chalkboard Sign With Your Cricut
To make this chalkboard sign, you will need:
- A Chalkboard Sign – I recommend this hanging chalkboard which has a holder for chalk so kids can easily leave messages.
- Colored Clothes Pins for the pictures – Here are fun colored ones you can use.
- Permanent Adhesive Vinyl – You want to make sure you have permanent vinyl for this project. I recommend this white permanent adhesive vinyl to use with chalkboards. For the color I recommend this variety pack of adhesive vinyl. I like to purchase variety packs because then you always have colors on hand when you need them. It lets me learn which colors I use often so I can purchase rolls in those colors when they run out.
- Cricut Maker or Explore Air 2 Cutting Machine (or any other cutting machine) and this machine mat for cutting.
- These Weeding Tools for removing the excess vinyl (or something similar)
- This scraper or something similar to adhere and smooth your vinyl to your wooden board.
- Transfer Tape to transfer your design to your chalkboard sign.
